I am a VeterinarianPolicy Holder
Unfortunately, we are only able to accept pre-authorisation requests from the veterinary practice providing emergency treatment for your pet. Please refer to your vet. We do accept direct claims from vets, however the decision to provide this service lies with the individual vet practices, so please contact your vet directly to discuss. If you have a general query regarding the cover of your policy, please contact Pet Protect via our Livechat service.
Please complete the pre-authorisation form below for veterinary treatment over £500. Responses will be provided by email within 24 hours of receipt, unless the request is received after 12pm on Friday, where a response will be provided by 12pm on the following Monday (or Tuesday if a bank holiday). We will be unable to pre-authorise any treatment unless a full clinical history and a detailed estimate of the treatment is provided. If you are a referral practice or the pet has only recently been registered with yourselves and you do not hold the full clinical history from 1st vaccination, it will be your responsibility to obtain this from any previous practices with whom the pet has been registered.
Once your claim has been pre-authorised and your treatment has taken place, please submit your claim in the normal manner.
