If your dog were to go missing, we’d be there to help with £500 to spend in advertising and reward money. And if the worst happened and you didn’t recover your pet, we’d also give you up to £1,000 to help you cope (loss by theft or straying).

Unlike many other insurance policies, Pet Protect will cover a congenital or hereditary condition provided it is not present or apparent at the start of the policy. Examples of congenital and hereditary conditions are:

• Hip dysplasia in German Shepherds and Labradors
• Heart murmurs in Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Behavioural therapy is very important especially for pets that have been adopted from rescue centres. With Pet Protect Lifetime Plus, behavioural therapy is included for up to £450 when caused by an illness or and your pet can be referred to a behavioural specialist by your vet.

If your pet were to cause injuries to a person, or damage someone’s property, you could be legally obliged to pay compensation. We’ll cover this up to £1 million so you don’t have to worry about it.
