The Extras
Pet Protect is the only insurer that contributes up to 50% towards the cost of clinical diets prescribed by your vet (source: Defaqto Aequos Database 1st August 2008). For the treatment of many common conditions this could amount to thousands of pounds each year.
We also cover your pet for dental problems, providing they are non-preventative and non-cosmetic, and congenital and hereditary conditions as long as no symptoms have developed before the policy is taken out or during the 14 day waiting period.
