In the Pet Protect Celebrity Chat Series Catrina returns to her journalistic roots by hosting a series of interviews with major celebrities on the topic of their pets. As well as looking at how pets can give their owners a better quality of life, these interviews also include information on how we should care for our pets, common problems and some of the more unusual and alternative treatments available to pet owners.

Selina Scott

Initially resisting the temptation to continue a family trait working in journalism Scott succumbed and went to work on the Sunday Post in Dundee, Scotland for 2 years. She then took up the post of Press officer for the Tourist board on the Isle of Bute. She then began broadcasting after being hired by Ted Brocklebank, then Head of News & Current Affairs, now a Tory MSP, as a reporter and presenter with Grampian TV in 1978. She made her television debut on the nightly news programme Grampian Today, presenting from a North Sea oil platform and at the summit of Cairn Gorm. Stedman Pearson

Stedman Pearson is the eldest of the five Pearson siblings, and has a background in dance and fashion. He left college to join his sisters and younger brother in Five Star in 1983. His main role in the group, as well as backing singer, was designing their glittering stage costumes for TV appearances and concerts, which became a trademark as they broke into the mainstream music industry in 1985. A real life Eastender, Cheryl was born in Bethnal Green on 8th March 1954. Her bubbly personality was evident even in the early days of Bucks Fizz when they won the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin in 1981.
