Our cat policies
Cats are extremely independent creatures. This can make them ideal pets if you don't have much time on your hands, but it also means they're usually out and about somewhere getting up to all kinds of mischief. Inevitably this can result in injury, despite their uncanny agility and sure-footedness.
Our cat insurance is designed to give you peace of mind. No matter what happens or where your cat is, you're covered for up to £6,000 of vet fees a year, every year. (exact amount dependant on your chosen level of cover)
Other benefits include:
Up to 50% towards clinical diet foods
Cats can be prone to urinary tract conditions, best treated with clinical diet foods. Unlike other insurance companies, we'll pay up to half of the cost of a clinical diet your cat is prescribed, for life (as long as it is not to promote weight-loss).
Dental treatments
Without careful care and attention (and if you've ever tried to brush a cat's teeth, you'll know it's not always easy!) cats can develop a variety of dental problems, especially if they only eat soft foods, including gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and bad breath. We cover all non-cosmetic and non-preventative dentistry, unlike most other insurance companies.
Complementary treatments
However sceptical you might be, there's plenty of evidence of cats benefiting from acupuncture and herbal remedies, so we cover complementary treatments like these along with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and homeopathic medicine.
Recovery of lost and missing cats
Unfortunately, cats go missing or get stolen more than you might think. We cover up to £1,500 for you to advertise and offer rewards until you are reunited.
