A single annual payment of 19.95 for cats and £25.95 for dogs will cover your pet for a year, providing up to £3,000 of pre-paid lifesaving medical treatment for use while your pet is lost. Emergency care provides up to £1 million Third Party Cover (dogs only) and £250 for you to spend to find your missing pet.

- Emergency care is exclusively provided to pets registered with Pet Protect Microchip ID.
- When your lost pet is brought into a vets or rescue centre, the emergency personnel on duty will scan the pet to locate and read your pet’s unique microchip number.
- The emergency personnel will then call Pet Protect Microchip ID to locate the pet’s owner: during that call the pet Protect Microchip ID representative will indicate that your pet has the benefit of Emergency Care cover.
